Goat Hill Fair

Goat Hill Fair is a unique antiques and artisan fair located in Los Gatos California. Goat Hill not only provides the opportunity to find that special treasure but enjoy a day in a absolutely beautiful setting.

Cyndi Garofalo is the creator and founder of Goat Hill Fair. While she is the sole owner, she does not work alone. Cyndi has a small staff that assists in all her various crazy requests. Her crew consists of: Shari Nicsevic, Megan Sempek, Donna Boss and not lastly a man in the group ~ Mark Graper. How does she describe herself? Fearless dumspter diver, 60 year old boogie boarder, mother of two talented artists, and a cowgirl -at-heart! Makes me want to drive to California just to meet her!! :)

I asked Cyndi “how did you choose “Goat Hill” as the name?”  She replied, “I was lucky enough to become friends with someone that lives on a 17 acre goat farm. She liked my vision of a vintage/antique show… and VOILA – Goat Hill Fair became the tag.”

Goat Hill started small and yet while they’re still young, Cyndi feels that there is the potential to grow nationwide. There is so much to offer guests. Cyndi says she can picture girlfriends taking a mini-get-away in order to junk together. Or a couple on a catch-up-with-one-another weekend. Maybe they’re looking for the perfect piece of furniture for the home? The show is in an idyllic setting -  a farmhouse centered in a meadow, surrounded by redwoods with goats milling about. Down a shady back-road a few miles and you have the Pacific Ocean. Wineries are in abundance on this hill. We’re not far from the airport and a large metropolis either. Why not share?

Goat Hill has a spring show in May and a fall show in September, which is coming up on 9/15 and 16. While I have never been to this show, I will guarantee you the time of your lives! Cyndi and her crew put on a fun show with just about everything you can imagine! Here are a few funny stories from Goat Hill! A gallon of white paint spilled onto Cyndi’s fav cowgirl boots, and onto the floor of my show booth. Goats sprung from their holding pen and into the orchard where we set-up. {think of the possible mess there}. One vendor brings a vintage trailer as her backdrop – it begins rolling down the hill toward fences and goats before being stopped by a few hearty males. All ridiculously funny and now in the journals of Goat Hill history.
